This year's MTV Video Music Awards opened with Taylor Swift, Tyla and Charli XCX among the first names on the arrivals line, along with a long list of other artists. For a desk that tracks who wore what and when, the 2026 VMAs now get their own entry in the file, next to every earlier carpet the show has staged. We'll leave the designer credits and the gown-by-gown details to the full photo record and note only the fact that matters here: the music industry turned out dressed for the occasion. The archive is open, and there's room in it for this year.

With reporting from Vogue.
