Aspen and Miami Make Kujten's Short List of American Addresses
Kujten, the cashmere house out of Paris, has decided where its knits will hang next in this country, and two of the three answers sit squarely on our map. New doors are planned for SoHo, for Aspen and for Miami. Once they open, the label will count four stores in the United States. The trio says something about the fabric: Aspen is the obvious home for cashmere once the lifts start turning, while Miami is the more intriguing wager for a material most people file under winter. SoHo rounds things out for the shopper who wants to try a sweater on between a gallery and lunch. For a house that has kept a single American outpost until now, moving to four at once is a confident way of saying hello.
