Kahlana Barfield Brown, founder of KBB by Kahlana, built her name first as a beauty editor before turning her eye toward the rack. She's now put that background toward a label with a clear brief: trend-forward clothing that doesn't sacrifice affordability or size range to get there. Barfield Brown walked through that pivot, from editorial desk to design founder, in a sit-down with The Fashionista Network.
