The Case for the Well-Loved Wardrobe

Ralph Lauren's Spring/Summer 2027 collection stakes its claim on a different kind of romance: not the untouched, still-in-the-garment-bag kind, but the sort that comes from actually wearing something in. The idea running through the collection is that a beloved piece only gets better with use, wrinkles and all, and that a little wear is proof of affection rather than a flaw. It's a philosophy that will sound familiar to anyone here who reaches for the same broken-in blazer season after season rather than the one still bearing its tags. Devotion, in other words, looks better lived-in than pristine.
