A Catskills Hideaway From the 1960s Finds Its Way Onto the Spring 2027 Runway

Altuzarra's Spring 2027 collection traces back to Casa Susanna, a retreat where men gathered decades ago to dress as women and, for a weekend at a time, live as themselves. The house has also become the subject of the label's companion book this season, giving the story of that refuge a second life in print alongside the clothes. It is a collection built on gender codes loosened rather than erased, staged in tribute to a place most of fashion had never heard of until now.
