Christian Cowan is looking backward to move forward. For his Spring 2027 collection, the designer built around a resonant line from Marilyn Monroe, using her words as the entry point into Old Hollywood glamour. The twist in the workroom: fabric that is a full century old, pulled out of storage and given new purpose rather than left to sit. It is the kind of detail that turns a mood board into a real garment — history worn, not just referenced.
