The CFDA's Next Jewelry Star Is Looking Backward to Move Forward

Julia Ferentinos, the designer behind Juju Vera, is one of the 2026 CFDA finalists, and her strongest case is built on a decade she didn't live through. She credits Art Deco with a particular kind of alchemy: taking ancient references and resetting them into forms that read as entirely current. It's a distinctly American vote of confidence, too, since the CFDA finalist list rarely misses.
