Checking In: Lacoste's Latest Capsule Comes With a Key Card

Hotel group The Hoxton and Lacoste have put together a limited-edition capsule collection, developed in partnership with artist Michael McGregor. The catch, per WWD Fashion, is distribution: the pieces are not sold on a shelf or a website, but reserved for guests who have actually booked a room. It turns a clothing drop into something closer to a hotel amenity — the crocodile logo arriving with the key card rather than the price tag. For a house built on the tennis court, it is a fittingly understated way to make a collection feel exclusive without shouting about it.
