Cher Turns Up for a Moncler Ribbon-Cutting, Puffer and All

Cher made one of her infrequent public appearances this week, and she picked a New York fashion week moment to do it: the opening of Moncler's store during the city's runway season. She wore the brand's signature puffer, choosing the insulated silhouette even as the calendar sits squarely in summer. It is the kind of pairing that only works with the right amount of nerve, and Cher supplied it. New York's fashion week calendar draws no shortage of established names to store openings and presentations alike, but a sighting of Cher herself is the rarer commodity. For one night at least, the puffer had company worthy of it.
