Two shoes on this week's release calendar make opposite arguments. One is a cowboy boot cut with extra room through the toe box, designed for women with wider feet and bunions who still want the silhouette. The other is Miu Miu's sneakerina, a ballet-flat-meets-sneaker hybrid that carries a $1,170 price tag. Between comfort engineering on one end and a four-figure sneaker on the other, the week's shoe drops cover the full range of what footwear is asked to do.
