Michelle Ochs is giving her old Cushnie Et Ochs pieces somewhere new to go. The designer has teamed with entrepreneur Janet Mandell to open The Vault, a fresh rental and shopping venture built around her past collections. Instead of sitting retired, those designs are now available to be worn again, part of a growing case that a well-made dress deserves more than one outing. It is archive as closet, not museum.
