Designer Meets Neuroscientist, and Their Running Kit Gets a Second Look: Meet 444
Julius Juul, the designer behind Heliot Emil, has a new label, and this one is made for the long run. It's called 444, an activewear line made from natural materials, and he started it with Davide Maccari, a neuroscientist. It began with a practical question: while the two were training for ultra-distance races, they started asking how much man-made fiber they were wearing, mile after mile. For anyone who runs long miles on Colorado trails, it's a fair thing to wonder about before the next fitting.
