Donna Karan Sends Kendall Jenner Back to Its Own New York Archive
Kendall Jenner fronts the new Donna Karan campaign, photographed by Mert Alas in a series built around the energy of New York City, the house's home turf. The images are a deliberate callback: they reference a Donna Karan campaign shot by Dennis Piel in the late 1980s, with Rosemary McGrotha as its face. Placing Jenner inside that same New York framing links this season's book directly to the label's own archive rather than starting a new story from scratch. It is one house, one city, and two campaigns separated by nearly four decades, run side by side.
