Fall 2026's Handbags: Big on the Shoulder, Small in the Hand

Vogue has picked out seven handbag directions for autumn/winter 2026, and the two it names pull in opposite directions: shoulder bags made oversized and a fresh take on the clutch. One rides high and roomy under the arm, while the other sits small in the palm. That gives a New York sidewalk in October and a Palm Beach dinner in season the same shopping list, just used two ways.
