Runways this season are carrying more than clothes. Chairs have joined the lineup as full cast members, and skirts are being built to unfurl like carpets underfoot. The effect folds two crafts into one silhouette, so a single exit reads as both garment and furnishing. Where fashion ends and interior design begins is no longer a clean line.
