Beauty editors have a new term for an old instinct: "eyemaxxing," the art of choosing an eyeshadow shade that makes a specific eye color read brighter under lights. For green eyes, the guidance narrows to nine shades built to flatter rather than fight the color already there. It is less a makeover than a tune-up — the kind of detail a stylist checks before anyone steps in front of a camera or a judge's table.
