Haggar Turns 100, and America's Trouser Leads the Nation's Closets

A hundred years in, Haggar still makes more of the slacks and tailored jackets Americans actually buy than any other label in the country. For an archive that usually tracks one gown on one night, that is a different kind of record: not a single appearance but the everyday uniform of the American office, wedding and Sunday lunch. The company isn't treating the anniversary as a finish line. It is looking at markets beyond U.S. borders and at new categories under its own name as the next chapter.
