Jonathan Cohen is joining J. Mendel as the house's resident designer, with the change taking effect this October. The move doubles as a homecoming: the label is planting its new chapter squarely in New York, the city where its next collections will now take shape. Cohen steps into the role at the start of that transition, putting his name alongside the house's as it begins again on home ground. October will mark the official start of the pairing.
