NEWGEN designer Joshua Ewusie built his name on leatherwork with an edge, but his spring 2027 collection trades some of that sharpness for something gentler. Faux flowers and leather lace now share the rack, drawn from the domestic textures of migrant households rather than the runway's usual references. The through-line is still his signature material, just worked into a quieter register. It reads less like a departure than a designer letting the same hand speak a new dialect.
