Arey, the Los Angeles-based brand, has closed a Series A funding round led by Unilever Ventures. The company says the capital will go toward expanding its research and development work, growing retail partnerships, and funding clinical research. The round marks a new stage of investment for the brand as it builds out those three areas. Backing from Unilever Ventures puts a major industry name behind Arey's next phase of growth.
