Lower East Side's Newest Chapel Comes With Its Own Costume Department

A new Vegas-style wedding chapel called Sure Thing has opened on Allen Street, bringing a splash of Sin City to the Lower East Side. Vogue stopped in to watch couples say their vows there, presided over by a signature performer known as Hellvis, dressed for the part in full Elvis regalia, alongside a resident named Tillie the Clown. It is a wedding chapel with its own house style, sequins, wigs and all, and New York's newest venue for saying "I do" in costume. Vogue got the first look.
