The Mat-to-Sidewalk Wardrobe Gets a New Global Face

The Los Angeles wellness label Alo has named Wang Yibo — the Chinese actor, singer and racer — its newest global brand ambassador. The fit makes sense for a company built around a simple idea: that a piece should look just as at home in a studio class as it does out on the sidewalk afterward. Wang appears dressed in exactly that kind of layering, the sort meant to travel from a workout to an errand run without a costume change in between. It hands the brand's Los Angeles-born philosophy a face known well beyond it.
