For the third consecutive season, designers Susan Alexandra and Rachel Antonoff have turned their runway talents toward a different kind of model: the adoptable rescue dog. Their now-annual Best In Show has become a fixture of New York Fashion Week, pairing the city's biggest style week with four-legged contestants in search of homes. Amid the usual crush of shows and fittings, the event has earned a reputation as a welcome pause in the schedule rather than another box to check. Crown or no crown, the dogs appear to be the ones stealing the week.
