Old Navy has enlisted perfumer Jérôme Epinette for a new fragrance line priced at $15 a bottle. Epinette's résumé includes Byredo's Gypsy Water and Sol de Janeiro's Cheirosa '62, two scents with devoted followings well outside the mass market. Putting that kind of pedigree behind a mall price tag is its own kind of statement.
