The Plastic Sleeve Around the New Piece Gets a Second Life
Before a new acquisition reaches the closet, it usually comes wrapped in a clear plastic sleeve, and that sleeve usually goes straight into the trash. The startup Weavabel says it has built a way to collect those bags once they've been used and process them back into usable material, so the wrapping goes around again instead of ending there. It's the part of a delivery nobody photographs, and the kind of behind-the-scenes care that a closet worth keeping a record of tends to deserve.
