Prabal Gurung's Spring 2027 Line Puts Nepali Women and a Brooklyn Raver on the Same Runway

Prabal Gurung is doing away with the corset for Spring 2027, letting his silhouettes move freely rather than cinching them into shape. The inspiration board behind the collection pairs two unlikely muses: the women of Nepal and a raver he encountered in Brooklyn. It's a pairing that has little precedent on a runway, and it's the tension between the two that gives the collection its shape. No boning, no lacing — just those two references left to do the work.
