Public School Brings Its Own Weather to New York Fashion Week

Public School New York opened its Spring 2027 collection with a title borrowed from survival talk: "Living Proof." The label used the runway to chase extremes, and the most literal of them was weather itself, with rain worked into the show's central idea rather than kept as a backdrop. It is a fitting subject for a New York season, where the elements outside the tent are as much a character as anything on the runway. The line reads less like escapism and more like a forecast the label decided to get dressed for.
