Rebecca Hall Plays Both the Star and the Stranger in Maison Margiela's New Campaign

Maison Margiela's latest campaign arrives less like an advertisement and more like a trailer, and Rebecca Hall is the reason to watch it through. She takes the role of an actress caught inside a psychological thriller, the kind of part that blurs where performance ends and the person begins. Across from her stands her own double, a second Hall whose face disappears behind couture masks. The result trades the usual glossy campaign portrait for something closer to suspense, one actress standing in for two.
