Sali Christeson's Decade in Workwear Draws a Room Worth Dressing For
Ten years after Sali Christeson founded Argent, the label built for women who dress for the office, its anniversary party pulled a crowd that most launches could only sketch on a mood board. Hillary Clinton was among the guests raising a glass, as was Chloe Fineman, and the roster ran longer than those two names. It is a fitting turnout for a brand whose whole premise is clothes that go to work, worn by women whose work is very much on the record. A tenth birthday is the milestone where a label stops being a newcomer and starts being a reference, and this one marked it with the founder at the center and the guest list doing the talking.
