Simkhai's Spring 2027 Keeps the Shapes, Swaps the Skins

Jonathan Simkhai's Spring 2027 collection stayed close to its own established silhouettes while pushing hard on what those silhouettes were made of. Leather sharpened the daytime pieces, lace and denim traded places through the middle stretch, and by evening the surfaces turned more tactile, more hands-on. The forms held steady; the materials did the talking. It is a quieter kind of statement, but a confident one — change the fabric, not the frame.
