Le Coq Sportif's Wendon sneaker gets a refresh this season, courtesy of Vowels, and the timing is no accident: New York Fashion Week and the US Open are both underway, giving the city two stages for the same shoe. Fronting the campaign is Yannick Noah, the former tennis player whose court pedigree makes him a fitting face for a sneaker built on that heritage. It's the kind of pairing that reads as considered rather than convenient — a French sportswear name and a New York moment, meeting where fashion and tennis fans already overlap.
