Twenty Years In, the Women's Initiative Marks the Milestone at the Morgan
A twentieth anniversary deserves a proper room, and the Women's Initiative held its celebration at the Morgan Library and Museum in Manhattan. The guests didn't come from one industry. People from the arts shared the evening with people from public health, philanthropy and fashion. That mix is the point. Keeping a program going for two decades is an achievement, and bringing that many different fields under one roof to recognize it is another. The Morgan is known for rare books and manuscripts, which made it a fitting place to mark twenty years of work. For our archive, the entry reads: year twenty, a New York landmark, and a room full of guests there to honor an initiative built around women.
