The Vanity Table's New Rule: Treat Your Hair Like Your Face

Four French prestige names are rewriting what belongs in a hair care routine. Carita, Caudalie, and Clarins have joined fellow French house Sisley in bringing skin-care thinking to shampoos and treatments, folding in serums and active ingredients once reserved for the face. The logic is simple: if a complexion gets that level of formulation, why not the scalp and strands beneath it. For a beauty cabinet built around getting ready right, it is one more sign that the line between skin care and hair care is fading fast.
