Vans has dressed three of its signature shapes — the Old Skool, the Slip-On and the Loafer — in Harris Tweed, the handwoven wool best known from jackets, flat caps and country-house tailoring. It's an unlikely pairing on paper: a sneaker built for asphalt, wrapped in a cloth that usually signals gentry rather than grip tape. The three-pack applies the same tweed across all three silhouettes, so it reads as one deliberate styling idea rather than a novelty add-on. Whatever the fabric's usual reputation, on a sneaker it shows up as texture first — herringbone and flecked wool standing in for the suede or canvas fans expect.
