Veja Removes Its Own Signature

The French sneaker house Veja has built its name on that side-panel "V," worn on feet from Paris to Palm Beach as shorthand for its brand of sustainable style. Now, for the first time since the label's founding, a new pair will arrive without it. WWD reports the design grew out of a friendship a decade in the making, proof that sometimes the boldest move a brand can make is to trust its shape alone to be recognized.
