Helly Hansen is taking its footwear ambitions past the work site and into outdoor terrain. The brand's footwear line already makes up roughly a fifth of its work-apparel business, a solid enough foothold to expand from. It is a shift that tracks with how boots actually get worn these days — as at home on a Colorado trailhead as on a job site.
