A Red Line Cut Through the Palm Springs Green
Amanda and Nate married in Palm Springs this October, on a stretch of lawn that ran to a pond, framed by palms and the San Jacinto range against a bare sky. Down the middle of that ground, they laid a single band of scarlet fabric, flat and unbroken, running toward the water. Against the desert's blue and green, the red read as a deliberate line drawn through the setting rather than an accent on it — the boldest fact of the day, stated once and left alone.
