Robin's egg blue and saddle brown carried the entire palette for an equestrian-themed editorial staged on the veranda at Abbott Mansion. A bronze satin curtain was drawn back to expose a backdrop painted with a woodland scene, setting the stage for the shoot. The two colors, which might have read as a nursery scheme on paper, took on a horseback-riding character once set against the mansion's veranda and the painted woods behind it. It was that pairing, worked into the architecture of the space, that gave the editorial its identity.
