Adam Lambert made an unannounced appearance at the 2026 Video Music Awards and gave the final performance of a segment honoring George Michael. Before him, Raye, Sombr and Teddy Swims performed several of Michael's best-known songs. Michael, the artist behind "Faith," died in 2016. The segment brought several of today's performers together around one songwriter's catalog, and Lambert's appearance closed it.
