'Avengers: Endgame' Takes $26 Million in North America on Its Return to Theaters
The 2019 Disney and Marvel film "Avengers: Endgame" earned $26 million at North American theaters when it came back to screens, according to Variety Film. Overseas audiences added $60 million, and the film's worldwide total for the run came to $86 million. The North American figure is the share of that total from theaters in the United States and Canada. The same box office report showed "Heart of the Beast," the new film starring Brad Pitt, opening to $50 million worldwide. That puts a film first released in 2019 and a new Brad Pitt title on the same weekend ledger.
