Director Danny Boyle has said that a third film in the "28 Years Later" series is going ahead, and he credited the steady flow of questions from audiences as the reason. According to Variety, Boyle said the film's title is not yet settled and that he does not know when production will take place. He said Cillian Murphy will have a large role in the film. Boyle also said he supports Jack O'Connell as a choice to play James Bond.
