Eight Years Leading Mattel, Ynon Kreiz Moves to Share the Top Job at the Combined Paramount and Warner Bros.
Ynon Kreiz will become co-chief executive of the company formed by Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery, Variety reported. David Ellison, who leads Paramount, made the appointment. Kreiz is leaving his post as chief executive of Mattel, where he served for eight years. The deal joining Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery is set to be completed on Oct. 6, according to the report. Kreiz will lead the combined studio alongside Ellison as co-chief executive. With the appointment, the head of a major toy company moves into the leadership of one of the largest media companies in the country.
