DIRECTV has cut the price of its MySports genre pack to $49 for a subscriber's first month. The package includes ESPN Unlimited Plan and NFL RedZone. The offer comes before the Major League Baseball playoffs and the NHL and NBA seasons. For viewers in Beverly Hills and across Los Angeles, the $49 price covers the first month only, at a point in the calendar when football, baseball, hockey and basketball overlap.
