Re-Release Returns 'Avengers: Endgame' to No. 1 on the All-Time Box Office List

"Avengers: Endgame" again holds the record for the largest box office total of any film, Variety reported. Its total now stands at $2.925 billion. The film passed that mark after an "Encore" re-release returned it to theaters. That total puts it ahead of "Avatar," which had held the record until now. According to Variety, the two films have traded the top spot more than once.
