Former Mattel Chief Ynon Kreiz Steps Into Co-CEO Role at Merged Paramount-Warner Bros. Discovery
Ynon Kreiz, 61, is co-chief executive of the combined Paramount-Warner Bros. Discovery, where he works alongside David Ellison, according to Variety. His compensation in the new post is valued at more than $46.5 million. Variety reports that the figure is higher than what he received as chief executive of Mattel, the toy company he led before this role. Kreiz has signed an initial agreement with the merged company. The report did not give the remaining terms. Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery have long been part of the entertainment business that many Beverly Hills residents work in and follow. That gives a leadership appointment at the newly combined company local interest here.
