Ice Age, Percy Jackson and Felicity Headed to Netflix Under Disney Licensing Agreement

Disney has agreed to license a group of its films and series to Netflix, according to Variety. The titles include all five films in the "Ice Age" series, "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" and "Felicity," among others. Disney and Netflix run rival streaming services and seek the same subscribers. Variety reported that Disney sees Netflix's audience of more than 325 million as a way to earn revenue from its own titles and bring them to more viewers. Under the agreement, viewers in Beverly Hills will be able to find these Disney titles on Netflix as well as through Disney's own service.
