Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery Will Operate Under One Name: Skydance

The company created by the pending combination of Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery will be called Skydance. David Ellison, its chairman and chief executive, chose the name and announced it. The new name is that one word, without either studio's name added to it. For Beverly Hills readers who follow the entertainment business, this is the name the combined company will carry once the merger closes.
