Rommi Opens as a Studio Devoted to Romance, Shot for the Phone Screen
Jamie Gordon, a co-founder of Fugitive Films, and Maggie Malina, who formerly led scripted programming at MTV, have started a new production company called Rommi. The company will work in a single genre, romance. Its productions will be made in vertical format, the upright frame that fills a phone held in the hand. Gordon and Malina are the two founders named in the announcement.
