A 'St. Elmo's Fire' Sequel Has a Script, Rob Lowe Says, and the Cast Wants to Make It

Rob Lowe says a follow-up to "St. Elmo's Fire" is being developed. The actor gave the update when he was asked where the project stands. He said a script has been written. He also said the actors from the film want to take part. Lowe did not give a date for production or a release.
