Taylor Swift premiered the music video for "Patient Zero" during Sunday night's MTV Video Music Awards broadcast, according to Variety. The awards broadcast was the video's first public showing anywhere. "Patient Zero" is a single from Swift's release "Showgirl: Encore." Variety reported that the video presents the song as a tale about a ghost rather than as a romance.
